You Know the Economy Is In The Shitter When...
...there was no line whatsoever at Tartine when I was there 20 minutes ago. It's like Night of the Living Dead in there. I could hardly believe it. Pizzeria Delfina had space at lunch time, too (although that could be attributed to the new rocktastic location on the other side of town). Bi-Rite Creamery was a ghost town. This sitch right here is creepier than Uncle Fred.

I was at Oliveto today for lunch, and there were 4 table seated. 4. In a place that is usual business lunch spot, there were all 8 of us feeling lonely. Definitely hitting the fan...
Yup. It's getting bad. Sam and I were able to get seats at Coi at 8pm, no problem. And later, Orson was DEAD.
My Opentable reservations have droopped from an average of 4-5 a month to 1-2 per month.
Citrus Club in the Haight Friday night was packed, though almost fully emptied by 10:30pm.
Oh, and that was the first time I've eaten out since August (at It's Tops).
Haven't seen you in a long time but I've been freaking out because now there is always parking on Clement Street which is where you go when the economy is bad!!!
