Desperately Seeking Cookies

Somehow I have not come into contact with any girl scouts this year (a statistical improbability if I've ever heard one), and I am jonesin' for some thin mint action. If you know where I can score some (the cookies, not the girl scouts), please post in the comments. My freezer is longing for them to take up residence ASAP.

I'm not in the city at the moment, so I wouldn't stake my life on it, but cookie sellers can usually be found on the weekends in my neighborhood--at the corner of 9th and Irving.

Good luck with the hunt! One of these days some enterprising troop is going to set up a site for online sales and make a killing, rules not withstanding.

Last time I was in SF at the Diamond Heights Safeway, the girl scouts were out there selling their cookies.

That is, until the police got called and had to hustle them away. Apparently the cookie-dealers were considered a public nuisance.

Ahh, tolerant SF...

Oh, Joy, the season has passed. I bought mine (in Marin) more than a month ago and failed to get enough to freeze extras. Maybe someone else did and will share with you. Or maybe you could do a post on craigslist!
