Diner #3

Diner #3 entered the world on November 14th at 9:27 a.m. His getting here was not the easiest thing this whore has ever done, but I am sure that it will not be the most difficult thing I will ever do for him.

In any case, eating well has it's disadvantages. Diner #3 arrived weighing a whopping 9 lbs., 10 oz., and every doc. and nurse in the whole damn place has said I must have fed him really well in utero. Keep in mind I am 5'1", and both Jon and I were born on the small side. After seeing how much he weighs, I think it's going to be difficult for my boobs to compare to what he was getting on the inside. Then, again, I have a pretty magnificent rack to begin with so you never know.

Yay!!! I've been waiting for news, you've got me beat by at least a week it looks like. Congrats, such a gorgeous baby (did you say 9 POUNDS???!!!). I wish upon you many nights of sleep and easy nursing.

Oh wow, I've been checking your blog to see when the baby was born. He is really beautiful - and I don't say that about many newborns (I think my own 2 sons were kinda ugly till about a month old).

My older son was 9 lbs 4 oz, so let me tell you that you'll be feeding him fairly frequently. It's a chore at times, but I'm sure you'll have an absolute ball. One warning - don't try cutting his nails while you're breastfeeding. Can you say "Bad Mommy"? He survived.

magnificent rack is an understatement, I couldn't keep my eyes off them in that last play you were in!

I still don't understand why you wouldn't let me and Fred take Diner #3 home with us yesterday.

Adorable son.

Joy -- Finally caught up with you and your news! My daughter is a size 0 (I know, I know) and she has delivered three veddy big boys and lived to tell the tale. Diner #3 is simply swell! My best to all of you.
