I'll try to do some illustration and posts before you go :)<BR/><BR/>Tahiti is like any touristic places : tourist restaurants are yucky. I was able to hook up with a horrible case of food poisoning courtesy of beef carpaccio at our resort. Nothing quite like having 3 days of your vacation ruined by diarrhea & vomiting. In hindsight, carpaccio was a bad idea.<BR/><BR/>We did manage to stock up on mixed drinks and forget about food most of the time. Yeah. Food will suck. Try to get fresh seafood grilled and as unadulturated as possible -- but sometimes you really have to kick and scream to get them to leave off the mango, cilantro, lemongrass, and sugarcane salsa.
